Sforzando Music School is one of Ghana’s leading music institutions, proudly based in Takoradi in the Western Region. Nestled in the heart of Anaji Estate, our school has become a vibrant hub where passion for music meets structured learning and real growth.
Founded in 2010 by Mr. Joseph Amusah, Sforzando has spent over a decade shaping musical journeys and nurturing talent across all age groups. What began as a vision to make quality music education accessible has grown into a trusted name known for excellence, consistency, and results.
At Sforzando, we run a focused afterschool music program designed to fit seamlessly into the lives of our students. Children from various schools join us after their academic day for engaging, hands-on music lessons in the evenings. We also welcome teens and adults who are passionate about learning music—proving that it’s never too early or too late to begin.
Our approach goes beyond casual learning. We emphasize structured skill development, confidence building, and real musical expression. With a dedicated team of 5–6 experienced instructors, students receive guided training across instruments and performance, helping them grow into confident musicians.
Over the years, we have trained numerous students who continue to show remarkable progress in their musical abilities. Our monthly recitals, performances, and concerts create opportunities for students to showcase their growth, while giving parents a front-row seat to their child’s development.
Sforzando is more than a music school—it is a community. A place where talent is discovered, nurtured, and celebrated.
We are open to everyone, regardless of age or experience level. Whether you are just starting or looking to refine your skills, Sforzando is the place to begin your musical journey.
